boiled wool & long johns
after speaking to David P he had the really interesting idea of incorporating long johns &
boiled wool jumpers into my collection
i absolutely love the idea & think it works really well with the initial concept of my collection
the mix of Scottish tweed, boiled wool, fine knit jersey, wax cotton & washed silk could be quite interesting

toile development
development from my first toile, a short back to front jacket
i changed the darts & incorporated a
dropped sleeve which i'm not too keen on so might change it back to a normal sleeve or maybe a raglan
i'm currently working on the layers that will go underneath the jacket
i'm thinking a really long sleeved thermal dress with a fine knit wool jumper over that
i really like the idea of layers & odd proportions

working on the stand
using odd proportions in an outfit
using a unisex pajama trouser block to
create a loose, slouchy & boyish fit, I
added pleats to create some shape at the
waist
the use of no side seams gives the trousers
an interesting edge
